We have implemented measures in our stores in accordance with the various provincial public health authorities as well as the colleges of opticians of each province, in order to ensure that they are a safe and sanitary environment for our employees and our customers.
All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a mask and protective eyewear, to frequently wash their hands and to disinfect their tools and work stations, all while practicing physical distancing. All customers will also be required to wear surgical cloth masks for the duration of their visit as well as disinfect their hands before entering.
Our customers can schedule 30-minute appointments for a new purchase, an order pickup or a service, to control the number of people in the store,
All employees and customers are asked a series of screening questions before determining if they can enter the store. If they are approved, they must sanitize their hands and wear their face mask before entering. If they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, they will be asked to make a new appointment at a later date. Additionally, we will keep a record of visitors so that contact tracing can be done if necessary.
All stores are limiting their capacity based on their ability to safely practise physical distancing. There may be an employee stationed at the door of each store when needed, in order to welcome our customers and to manage the waiting line outside. Customers cannot bring anyone with them to their appointment unless accompanied by a caregiver or interpreter.
Our customers must also remain seated throughout their appointment and avoid touching the frames on display in order to receive a VIP service from our stylists and opticians.
The health and safety of our employees and customers is our number one priority and as such, these measures are constantly being reevaluated and adjusted when needed.
